From studying people to designing for people
"You're a Sociology major...doing UI/UX design?"
In Sociology, I've learnt about everything from the fine arts to the experiences and problems of growing old. But most importantly, I've learnt how to approach different contexts, ask questions about it, and take a critical approach to understanding them.
In design, this analytical approach has helped me understand users and identify how we can address their needs through design. Having explored UI/UX design in university, I came to enjoy the process of solving problems and iterating through the process of research, ideating and testing.
Pictured: beyond UI/UX, I love all things design! Here's me sitting on a comically large CH07 Shell Chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner at the Danish Design Museum.
